VBP Pick'em Extravaganza Constitution

Single-Manager Policy: Each paid team or entry must be controlled by one registered primary manager. Co-owners, co-managers, shared entries, and shared control of an entry are not permitted.

A manager may receive informal advice from others, but no other person may submit picks, make weekly contest decisions, access the entry for league play, or otherwise act in this contest on that manager's behalf. If multiple entries are allowed, each paid entry must still be solely controlled by its registered manager.

Reason for the Rule: Sleeper may provide access features for additional users in supported games, but VBP membership, LeagueSafe payments, refunds, payouts, standings disputes, and commissioner accountability must remain tied to one identifiable manager per entry. One manager per entry creates a clear record for scoring disputes, replacement decisions, competitive-integrity review, and prize distribution.

If shared control or co-owner access is discovered, the commissioner may require its immediate removal, recognize only the primary registered manager for all contest purposes, restrict or review affected activity, or remove the entry if the violation continues. The primary manager remains responsible for all activity involving that entry.

This league is designed for managers who want a low-maintenance football contest based on weekly NFL picks instead of fantasy roster management.

Managers do not draft players, set lineups, make waiver claims, or manage fantasy rosters. The contest is based entirely on submitting NFL game picks through Sleeper.

VBP Pick'em Extravaganza is a 2026 NFL regular season spread pick'em league.

Each week, managers pick NFL games through Sleeper. Because the league uses spreads, the goal is not simply to pick which team wins the game. The selected team must cover the posted spread according to Sleeper's official grading.

Sleeper settings govern the weekly pick board, available games, posted spreads, scoring, and official standings.

The commissioner will use this constitution to resolve payment, conduct, tiebreaker, and platform-dispute questions that are not fully answered by Sleeper's in-app settings.

The league buy-in is $10 per entry.

Payment is handled through LeagueSafe. A manager is not considered fully entered until payment is received and confirmed.

The commissioner may remove unpaid entries before the season begins or before a posted payment deadline.

If the league allows multiple entries per manager, each entry must be paid separately and must follow the same rules as every other entry.

LeagueSafe payment records are the official payment source of truth.

This is a spread-based pick'em league.

The league does not use fantasy rosters, fantasy points, lineups, waivers, trades, drafts, or playoffs.

Managers submit picks for the NFL games made available by Sleeper each week.

The league is currently configured without confidence points. Each correct pick is worth the value assigned by Sleeper for that game.

Unless the commissioner announces otherwise before the season, all listed regular season weeks count toward the final standings.

Because this league uses spreads, a correct pick is based on the selected team covering the spread shown in Sleeper.

Example: if a team is listed at -3.5, that team must win by more than 3.5 points for the pick to be correct. If a team is listed at +3.5, that team can lose by 3 points or fewer, tie, or win outright for the pick to be correct.

Sleeper's posted spread, pick-lock behavior, game grading, and final scoring are official.

If a spread changes after a manager submits a pick, the applicable spread is the one Sleeper uses to grade the pick.

If Sleeper marks a game as void, canceled, postponed, pushed, or otherwise not scored, the Sleeper result will control unless the commissioner announces a specific correction for a clear platform error.

Picks must be submitted through Sleeper before the applicable game locks.

Managers are responsible for checking their own picks before kickoff and confirming that Sleeper accepted them.

Missed picks, late picks, accidental picks, and unsubmitted picks will not be manually added after a game locks.

If Sleeper has a widespread outage that prevents fair pick submission for multiple managers, the commissioner may make a league-wide ruling. Individual device, connection, or login issues remain the manager's responsibility.

Sleeper is the official scoring and standings platform.

Each correctly graded pick earns the point value assigned by Sleeper. Incorrect picks receive no points unless Sleeper's official rules for a specific game state otherwise.

Season standings are based on cumulative Sleeper scoring across the counted weeks.

Any Sleeper stat correction, game grading correction, or platform scoring update is binding once reflected in the league standings.

If Sleeper provides an official standings tiebreaker, the Sleeper tiebreaker will be used first.

If a payout position remains tied after Sleeper's displayed standings and no clear platform tiebreaker exists, the prize money for the tied payout positions will be split evenly among the tied managers.

The commissioner may announce an additional season-end tiebreaker before Week 1 if Sleeper exposes a stable supported tiebreaker tool for the league.

Final payouts are based on the total number of paid entries. The examples below show the intended payout scale at common entry-count milestones.

Weekly winners begin at 50 paid entries. The weekly prize goes to the highest-scoring entry for that NFL week according to Sleeper. If a weekly prize is tied, that week's prize is split evenly among the tied entries.

If the final paid entry count lands between listed tiers, the commissioner will publish a proportional final payout table before Week 1 using the same general structure.

If the league finishes below 20 paid entries, the commissioner will post a smaller payout table before Week 1 based on the final paid entry count.

LeagueSafe will be used to distribute prizes after the season is complete and final standings are confirmed.

If the league has unresolved standings or scoring issues, payouts may be delayed until Sleeper standings are final and any commissioner review is complete.

Managers are expected to submit their own picks and compete honestly.

Collusion, manipulation, abusive conduct, payment fraud, duplicate unpaid entries, or attempts to exploit platform errors may result in removal from the league.

The commissioner may remove an entry, deny a payout, or refer a payment issue to LeagueSafe if a manager materially violates league integrity.

Sleeper is the official league platform. Its game board, spreads, lock times, scoring, and standings control unless there is a clear and material platform error.

The commissioner will not manually override normal pick results because of disagreement with a spread, line movement, NFL officiating, or a manager's misunderstanding of the format.

If a clear platform error affects the league, the commissioner may issue a league-wide ruling designed to preserve fairness and consistency.

The commissioner is responsible for maintaining the league, confirming payment status, communicating deadlines, posting payout information, and resolving issues not fully covered by Sleeper or this constitution.

Commissioner rulings will prioritize platform consistency, payment security, and equal treatment of all paid entries.

Commissioner authority may not be used to retroactively benefit a specific manager after game outcomes are known.

Before Week 1, the commissioner may clarify rules, payment deadlines, payout tables, and tiebreaker details as needed.

After Week 1 begins, rule changes should be limited to clarifications, platform-error responses, or issues that are necessary to preserve league integrity.

Any material update will be posted publicly to league members through Sleeper or another commissioner-designated communication channel.
