Co-Manager Redraft Constitution

Co-Manager Redraft Constitution

Superflex redraft where every team is run by a 2-3 manager front office.

Full Constitution

This document governs VBP Co-Manager Redraft leagues. The format is designed around shared team control, clear communication, compact rosters, and a slow draft that gives each front office time to talk through decisions.

1. League Format

  • League size: 12 teams
  • Platform: Sleeper
  • Format: seasonal redraft
  • League type: Superflex
  • Buy-in: $50 per team

Each team is operated by a co-manager group instead of a single manager. The goal is to create a league where each roster feels like a small fantasy front office.

2. Team Ownership

Each team must have at least two active co-managers and may have no more than three co-managers.

The $50 buy-in is charged per team, not per manager. One manager must be identified as the primary payment and commissioner-contact manager.

Any Sleeper action made by a listed co-manager is treated as an official team action. Internal disagreements are handled by the team. The commissioner will not reverse legal lineup, waiver, draft, or trade actions because co-managers disagree after the fact.

If a co-manager leaves, the team must remain at the required minimum of two active co-managers or add a replacement approved by the commissioner.

3. Rosters

Starting lineup:

  • 1 QB
  • 2 RB
  • 2 WR
  • 1 TE
  • 2 FLEX
  • 1 SUPER FLEX

Bench and reserve:

  • 5 bench spots
  • 1 IR spot
  • No kicker
  • No defense

The smaller bench is intentional. It keeps waivers active, limits excessive stashing, and forces co-manager groups to make real roster decisions.

4. Scoring

  • Traditional 0.5 PPR scoring
  • TE premium: tight ends receive an extra 0.5 points per reception
  • Passing touchdowns: 6 points
  • Passing yards: 1 point per 25 yards
  • Rushing and receiving touchdowns: 6 points
  • Rushing and receiving yards: 1 point per 10 yards

With the TE premium, running backs and wide receivers receive 0.5 points per reception, while tight ends receive 1.0 point per reception.

5. Draft Rules

  • Draft type: 3RR slow draft
  • Draft start: July 15
  • Pick timer: 2 hours per pick
  • Overnight pause: 10:00 PM CST to 7:00 AM CST
  • Draft order: generated through 100yardrush.com after the league is full and paid

Co-manager groups are expected to use the slow draft window to communicate internally before making picks. If the Sleeper timer expires, Sleeper auto-pick behavior applies.

6. Season Structure

Regular Season: Weeks 1-14.

Playoffs: Six teams qualify, and the top two seeds receive a first-round bye.

  • Week 15 - Quarterfinals
  • Week 16 - Semifinals
  • Week 17 - Championship

7. Waivers and Trades

Waivers use FAAB with a $200 budget unless the commissioner announces a platform correction before the draft.

Trades are allowed and must be completed before the Sleeper trade deadline. Any co-manager may submit, accept, or reject trades for their team unless that team has privately set a stricter internal process.

The commissioner may review trades for collusion, roster dumping, payment issues, or competitive-integrity concerns.

8. Competitive Integrity

Teams are expected to remain active for the full season. Co-manager groups must communicate enough to submit competitive lineups, manage waivers, respond to trade offers, and avoid abandoned rosters.

Collusion, deliberate tanking in redraft, roster dumping, payment avoidance, or actions that damage league integrity may result in commissioner action up to and including roster correction, trade reversal, removal, or prize ineligibility.

9. Buy-In and Payouts

The buy-in is $50 per team. Payment is handled through LeagueSafe.

League dues are collected and distributed through LeagueSafe. The LeagueSafe payment link will be pinned in the league chat.

Teams that fail to pay league dues by the designated deadline may be replaced prior to the draft.

Prize eligibility belongs to the paid team entry, and the team is responsible for any internal split among co-managers.

10. Prize Distribution Structure

The league contains 12 teams paying $50 each, creating a $600 prize pool.

Placement Payout
Champion $445
2nd Place $100
3rd Place $55

The additional $5 above the buy-in for 3rd place offsets withdrawal fees associated with LeagueSafe payouts. To maintain the total prize pool balance, the Champion payout is reduced accordingly.

11. Regular Season Winner

The Regular Season Winner is the team finishing 1st in the standings at the conclusion of Week 14, prior to the start of playoffs.

Standings are determined by Sleeper.

There is no separate regular-season-winner payout in this format unless the commissioner announces a payout adjustment before the draft begins.

12. Rule Changes

Major rule changes may only occur before the league year officially begins or during a future offseason if this format is renewed.

Any change affecting league structure, scoring, roster construction, playoff format, co-manager requirements, or prize distribution requires majority league approval.

The league year officially begins once the draft order has been generated using 100yardrush.com.

After this point, rules remain locked for the season except for minor administrative clarifications or emergency platform corrections handled under commissioner administrative authority.

13. Commissioner Administrative Authority

The commissioner may make minor administrative adjustments when necessary to ensure the league operates smoothly.

Examples include:

  • Clarifying written rules
  • Correcting errors or omissions in the constitution
  • Setting or correcting Sleeper configuration to match this constitution
  • Resolving payment, replacement, or co-manager access issues
  • Resolving platform issues that require commissioner action

Administrative adjustments will be communicated to the league prior to implementation whenever practical.

Administrative adjustments may not alter core league structure, scoring, payout amounts, playoff format, or co-manager requirements without the rule-change process described above.
