- Draft Platform: Sleeper
- Draft Type: Snake draft
- Draft Timer: 90 seconds per pick (fast draft)
Draft Order: Draft order will be generated using 100yardrush.com after each league is full and paid.
The results from the generator determine the official draft positions, and the commissioner will post the results publicly for transparency.
Draft Timing: All Best Ball Union drafts will occur after the conclusion of the NFL Draft.
Draft Scheduling Window: Once a league is full, the league is paid, and the NFL Draft has already concluded, the Best Ball Union draft should be scheduled within 24 hours unless a commissioner-side setup issue or another legitimate blocker prevents the draft from being finalized that quickly.
Managers within each league may attempt to agree on a draft time inside that window. If a league cannot reach agreement, the commissioner will assign a draft time.
Whenever possible, leagues will draft on the same day to prevent competitive advantage caused by late preseason injuries or roster changes.
Draft Speed: Best Ball Union leagues are normally fast drafts. If a future Best Ball Union league is explicitly offered as a slow draft before registration opens, the slow-draft timer schedule below applies.
Fast Draft Timer: Standard fast drafts use 90-second pick timers.
Slow Draft Timer Before July 15: 8-hour pick timer.
Slow Draft Timer July 15 to Before August 15: 4-hour pick timer.
Slow Draft Timer August 15 to One Week Before the NFL Season: 2-hour pick timer.
Slow Draft Timer Final Week Before the NFL Season: 1-hour pick timer.
Slow Draft Overnight Pause: Slow drafts use an overnight pause from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM CST unless the league agrees to a different pause window before the draft begins.
Draft Flow: Managers are encouraged to notify the next manager after making their pick to help maintain draft flow.
Commissioner Scheduling: If a slow draft league fails to establish a draft start time after the NFL Draft, the commissioner will schedule the draft before the regular season begins.
