32-Team Redraft Constitution

Full governing document for the VBP Fantasy Network 32-team redraft format.

Full Constitution

This page reflects the full constitution text for the VBP Fantasy Network 32-team redraft format and is intended to serve as the governing reference for current managers and prospective league members.

This league is a single-season redraft competition with one 32-team field, no divisions, a shallow roster structure, FAAB waivers, and an 8-team playoff.

The format is designed to create a larger tournament-style redraft experience while keeping roster depth, waiver access, and weekly lineup decisions playable across a full 32-team field.

Team Ownership and Co-Owners

Single-Manager Policy: Each paid team must be controlled by one registered primary manager. Co-owners, co-managers, shared teams, and shared control of an entry are not permitted.

A manager may receive informal advice from others, but no other person may draft, submit lineups, make waiver claims, propose or accept trades, manage a roster, or otherwise act in the league on that manager's behalf.

Reason for the Rule: VBP league membership, LeagueSafe payments, refunds, payouts, trade review, and commissioner accountability must remain tied to one identifiable manager. One manager per entry creates a clear record for disputes, replacement decisions, competitive-integrity review, and prize distribution.

If shared control or co-owner access is discovered, the commissioner may require its immediate removal, recognize only the primary registered manager for all league purposes, restrict or review affected activity, or replace the entry if the violation continues. The primary manager remains responsible for all activity involving that team.

1. League Format

  • League Size: 32 teams
  • League Type: Seasonal redraft
  • Platform: Sleeper
  • Sleeper Invite: https://sleeper.com/i/JKZGWljGRbA4m
  • Divisions: None
  • Player Pool: Single shared player pool

All 32 teams compete in one overall standings table. There are no division standings, division winners, or division-based playoff berths.

Each manager drafts and manages one team for the current season only. Rosters do not carry over to future seasons.

2. Season Structure

Regular Season: Weeks 1-14.

Playoffs: Eight teams qualify for the playoffs.

Playoff Schedule:

  • Week 15 - Quarterfinals
  • Week 16 - Semifinals
  • Week 17 - Championship and 3rd Place Game

The league does not use Week 18 for its championship because NFL teams may rest starters or change player usage in ways that distort fantasy results.

Trade Deadline: The trade deadline occurs at the end of Week 11, and no trades may be completed after this deadline.

3. Rosters and Lineups

Roster Size

Each team drafts and carries 11 total players.

Starting Lineup

  • 1 RB
  • 2 WR
  • 3 FLEX (RB / WR / TE)
  • 1 SUPER FLEX (QB / RB / WR / TE)

This format does not require a dedicated QB starter. Quarterbacks may only be started in the SUPER FLEX spot.

Bench

4 bench spots.

IR

No IR slots are used unless a change is announced before draft order is generated.

Positions Not Used

  • Kickers
  • Team Defense / Special Teams

Managers are responsible for submitting legal lineups before each player's individual game lock.

4. Scoring

This league uses the VBP Fantasy Network Progressive PPR scoring model.

PositionReception Points
RB0.5
WR0.25
TE0.75

All other scoring categories follow standard Sleeper scoring settings unless league settings are explicitly announced before the draft.

There are no yardage bonuses or big play bonuses unless they are explicitly published in the Sleeper settings before draft order is generated.

Sleeper stat corrections are final and binding.

5. Waivers

System: Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).

Budget: $200 per team.

Minimum Bid: There is no minimum bid requirement, and managers may submit $0 bids.

Waivers follow Sleeper's weekly waiver processing schedule.

After waivers process, unclaimed players become free agents until the next waiver period.

Because this is a 32-team league with a single shared player pool, managers are expected to understand that the waiver pool will be thinner than in a standard 10-team or 12-team league.

6. Trades

Trades are permitted until the trade deadline.

Trades may only be vetoed by the commissioner.

A veto will only occur if there is clear evidence of collusion, roster dumping, platform abuse, or intentional disruption of league integrity.

Trades will not be vetoed due to perceived imbalance, disagreement with manager strategy, or public reaction to a deal.

Managers may not trade future draft picks, future considerations, side payments, or assets outside the current-season Sleeper league.

7. Draft Rules

Draft Platform

The draft is conducted on Sleeper.

Draft Order

Draft order will be generated using 100yardrush.com after the league is full and paid.

The results from the generator determine the official draft positions, and the commissioner will post the results publicly for transparency.

Draft Format

Snake draft.

Draft Timing

The draft will be scheduled after the conclusion of the NFL Draft once the league is full and paid.

Draft Speed

The league may be run as a fast draft or a slow draft. The draft type will be announced before league registration opens.

Standard fast drafts use 90-second pick timers.

Slow drafts that begin before July 15 use 8-hour timers.

Slow drafts that begin on or after July 15 and before August 15 use 4-hour timers.

Slow drafts that begin on or after August 15 and before one week prior to the start of the NFL regular season use 2-hour timers.

Slow drafts that begin during the final week before the NFL regular season use 1-hour timers.

Slow drafts use an overnight pause from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM CST unless the league agrees to a different pause window before the draft begins.

Managers are encouraged to notify the next manager after making their pick to help maintain draft flow.

If a slow draft league fails to establish a draft start time after the NFL Draft, the commissioner will schedule the draft before the regular season begins.

8. Playoff Seeding and Tiebreakers

The top eight teams in the overall standings qualify for the playoffs.

There are no automatic playoff berths by division because this league does not use divisions.

Playoff seeds are assigned by overall regular-season standings at the end of Week 14.

Unless manually corrected by the commissioner due to a platform issue, standings and tiebreakers follow Sleeper's official standings order.

The 3rd Place Game determines the 3rd place payout.

9. Buy-In and Prize Pool

Buy-In: $20 per team.

League Size: 32 paid teams.

Total Prize Pool: $640.

League dues are collected and distributed through LeagueSafe.

LeagueSafe Link: https://www.leaguesafe.com/join/4429536

Managers who fail to pay league dues by the designated deadline may be replaced prior to the draft.

PlacementPayout
Champion$490
2nd Place$100
3rd Place$50

The listed payout table uses the full $640 prize pool generated by 32 paid teams at $20 per team.

10. Competitive Integrity

Managers are expected to set a complete and competitive lineup each week prior to games beginning.

Intentionally leaving starting roster positions empty or starting known inactive players without reasonable cause is prohibited.

Failure to Set a Lineup:

  • First offense: warning issued by the commissioner.
  • Second offense: potential removal from the league or commissioner management of the abandoned roster.

Replacement Managers: If a manager is removed or leaves during the season, a replacement manager may assume control of the team and is not required to pay the league entry fee.

Vacant Team Management: If a replacement manager is not available, the commissioner may set weekly lineups using the highest projected point total according to Sleeper projections and only players currently on the roster. No roster moves, trades, or waiver claims will be made for vacant teams unless required to field a legal lineup.

Intentional Losing: Managers must make reasonable efforts to field competitive lineups each week. Deliberately setting a lineup designed to lose may result in commissioner intervention or removal from the league.

11. Rule Changes

Major rule changes may only occur during the offseason.

Any change affecting league structure, scoring, roster construction, playoff format, or prize distribution requires majority league approval once managers have paid.

The league year officially begins once the draft order has been generated using 100yardrush.com.

After this point, rules remain locked until the following offseason except where a correction is required to address a platform error or preserve league operation.

12. Commissioner Administrative Authority

The commissioner may make minor administrative adjustments when necessary to ensure the league operates smoothly.

Examples include:

  • Clarifying written rules
  • Correcting errors or omissions in the constitution
  • Adjusting deadlines or communication procedures
  • Resolving Sleeper display or settings issues
  • Implementing small operational improvements

Administrative adjustments will be communicated to the league prior to implementation when possible.

Administrative adjustments may not alter core league structure, scoring, roster construction, playoff qualification, or payout allocation after the draft order has been generated.
